Need to know where you stand on your Tennessee Pesticide Points?

Did you know that you can maintain your Class "A" status just by attending your local chapter meetings?



You need 5 points during your renewal cycle. MTGCSA has 2 educational sessions that are .40 CEU's each. There are 3 regular meetings and the fundraiser that are .10 service points each. That's a total of 1.20 points for 1 year.

I also found these options for helping you earn pesticide recertification points. Check out anything that may be happening with the local Co-Op and the Master Gardeners program sometimes has classes. We aren't the only ones who need points so be creative and look outside of turf. There is also a Summer Celebration at the West Tennessee Research & Education Center. Be sure to contact your extension agent. It may not be your cup of tea, but hey, if you need points, you need points.

Local chapter meetings will either have GCSAA education points or they will qualify for service points. Some of the meetings will  also get you pesticide recertification points depending on the content.
