Country Club is the area’s premier private location for golf, dining, tennis, swimming and social events with over 400
members. The club has 18 holes of championship golf, six asphalt tennis courts with practice wall, a competition size pool,
clubhouse, locker room facilities, private rooms for meetings, banquets, restaurants that are capable of serving meals ranging
from snack bar to fine dining.
The Cleveland Country Club opened in 1924, and has a 40,000
square foot clubhouse that offers all the amenities of a private club. The golf course has Bermuda grass fairways and Bent
grass greens and the tree-lined par-72 course measures 6659 yards from the back tees with a course rating of 72.6 and a slope
rating of 130.

Job Description:
·
Work closely with the General Manager,
Clubs Managements Team and Committees to build overall success of the Cleveland Country Club
·
Supervises staff in determining
the need for irrigation, seeding rates, fertilization rates, sod cutting, cutting turf grass on fairways, tees, greens and
roughs; raking sand traps, and oversee assignments to subordinate personal.
·
Maintains detailed records of personnel,
equipment used, supplies, and schedules indicating application of fertilizers, sprays, and chemicals, and their use for each
season.

Fertilizer and pesticide applications
·
Equipment maintenance
·
Irrigation maintenance
·
Hire, train, supervise and develop
golf course maintenance crew
·
Prepares annual budget reflecting
necessary and requested expenditures.
·
Purchasing
·
All aspects of all golf maintenance

Experience:
·
GCSAA Member: Preferred
·
GCSAA Certificate: Preferred
·
Education: Bachelor’s degree
in Agronomy or Turf Grass Management
·
Experience: Minimum
5 years in Turf Grass Management
· Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple
priorities
·
Problem Solving Skills
·
Familiarity with both warm and cool
season grasses for putting greens
·
Strong interpersonal and communication
skills
·
Must acquire and maintain pesticide
applicators license within one month of hiring
· OSMAC irrigation system knowledge a plus
