    Job Overview:  Gaylord Springs Golf Links is a resort course located in Nashville, TN. The course is a Scottish links-style and is considered an attraction of the Opryland Hotel and Convention center. Gaylord Springs was host to a Champions Tour event for 10 years and is rated as one of the top public courses in Tennessee. Gaylord Springs Golf Links is currently seeking a Spray Technician to make all chemical and fertilizer applications. This individual will work and communicate closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents on a daily basis. This is a full time position and overtime hours should be expected.

     

    Requirements:  Prefer 2-4 year degree in Turf Management or related field, however will consider an individual who is self-motivated with a willingness to learn and has dedicated 2+ years’ experience with golf course maintenance work.  Previous spray tech experience is a plus. Ability to read and understand chemical labels as well adhere to all label and facility safety measures.  Have the ability to drive golf course maintenance equipment, including tractors, and the ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 50lbs.     • Work with Golf Course Superintendent to manage inventory of fertilizer and pesticides.
    • Serve as team leader during various projects.

    The Role
    The crew foreman is responsible for installing projects estimated by Estimator and to install project according to plans.
